In recent years, specialty coffee has surged in popularity not just for its exceptional taste but also for its numerous health benefits. Unlike conventional coffee, which often undergoes heavy pesticide use, specialty coffee prioritises limited or no pesticide application. This practice not only benefits the environment and supports sustainable farming but also safeguards the health of consumers.

Reduced Pesticide Exposure: A Healthier Choice

One of the standout features of specialty coffee is its cultivation with minimal pesticide use. Pesticides, while intended to protect crops, can pose health risks when residues remain on beans after harvesting. These chemicals have been linked to various health issues, including allergic reactions, respiratory problems, and even more severe long-term effects such as cancer.
